Old Theater, No Charm
The band sounded fantastic, very entertaining all around. The theater, for sure, was the worst. Despite it being a cool evening outside, it was super hot inside. There is no A/C, guess what. Only in the lobby were there fans, not in the theater. Crazy, we were literally dripping with sweat and the couple sitting next to us LEFT halfway through the show because they were so hot! My husband's seat was broken, lopsided when he sat on it. Luckily, we spent a good chunk of the evening standing and enjoying the music. We've seen shows here in the past, and the Orpheum once had its charm, but not anymore. We did have a great time, but this venue needs a MAJOR overhaul. I cannot overlook how decrepit the venue was. I really want to give 5 stars for a great show.
